Entity

Entities will have different meanings based on if you are a business user or a professional

Business User

For a business user, an entity is a separate identifiable business unit.  Example

• Different legal entities within the group : LLPs, private limited companies etc
• Different geographical units of a legal entity : Maharashtra unit , Karnataka unit

Professional User

• Different clients for which compliances are to be tracked

Add Entity

Click on +Add to create an entity. 

Import 

If you have a large number of entities to be entered, you can import them via an excel sheet.

• Download Sample File
• Update the Sample File with entities details
• import the file
• if any errors are found, you need to correct them.
• Only if all the records are error-free, import will take place

Edit Details 

All details of an entity  can be edited

Delete  Entity 

An entity can be deleted only if no compliances have been assigned to it

Deactivate  

Once deactivated, no compliances can be assigned to such an entity. However previously assigned compliances will still be available
